Job Overview:
We are seeking a Word Processor to join a mid-sized, collaborative law firm in Newark NJ known for its supportive team environment and growth and development. This is a fully in the office position. The Word Processor will provide assistance to attorneys and be the first point of contact for users seeking word processing assistance and/or problem/resolution with document preparation.

Word Processor position responsibilities are:
  • Document production and editing including document conversion and clean up and creating and revising complex legal documents while adhering to firm styles and guidelines.
  • Printing complex documents.
  • Data entry using various software applications and or transcripts of digital dictation.
  • User support and customer service - Providing technical assistance via email, phone, helpdesk ticketing system and in person.
  • Facilitating the creation and editing of Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities

Word Processor position requirements are:
  • At least 7 years of Word Processor experience in mid or large law firm
  • Advanced knowledge of multiple legal software, including MS Office, Windows 10, iManage Document Management System, and Best Authority
  • Strong ability to learn new software as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage priorities
  • Excellent communication and client relations skills
