Job Description
We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Marketing and Development Specialist with a prominent law firm in the Paramus, NJ area (Zip code 07652). The Marketing and Business Development Specialist will play a key role in driving strategic marketing and business development initiatives that enhance the firm’s visibility, strengthen client relationships, and support continued growth. Reporting to the Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer and Marketing & Business Development Manager, this position offers a highly visible opportunity to work closely with firm leadership and attorneys on a wide range of impactful projects. Law firm or experience with a professional services firm is required for this position.

Marketing And Business Development Specialist Position Responsibilities:
- Support the firm’s marketing and business development strategies to increase brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
- Help oversee the Marketing Coordinator and Marketing Assistant, delegating and coordinating day-to-day projects.
- Manage the firm’s social media strategy and content calendar across multiple platforms.
- Maintain and update the firm website, ensuring accurate content and optimizing SEO and GEO performance.
- Coordinate client events, seminars, webinars, and networking programs, including logistics and on-site support.
- Manage sponsorships, memberships, and networking opportunities aligned with strategic goals.
- Prepare RFPs, pitches, presentations, and market research to support attorney business development efforts.
- Develop and update attorney biographies, practice descriptions, and other marketing materials.
- Coordinate submissions for legal rankings and awards, including Chambers, Best Lawyers, and Super Lawyers.
- Support newsletters, press releases, client alerts, and blog content.
- Maintain CRM data and prepare analytics to measure marketing effectiveness.
Marketing and Business Development Specialist Position Requirements are:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, and business development.
- Law firm or professional services experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
- Excellent writing, editing, project management, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with social media tools, CRM systems, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and Zoom.
