Full-Time | New York - Hybrid
Salary Range: $90,000–$105,000
A highly respected, multi-office law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with strong New York commercial litigation experience to join its legal team. This is a replacement role supporting a busy litigation practice in a fast-paced, professional environment.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and confident handling litigation matters from inception through trial preparation, with particular strength in pre-trial and motion practice.

Key Responsibilities
-
Prepare, file, and e-file legal documents in NYS Supreme Court, NYC Civil Court, and Federal Court
-
Ensure strict compliance with court rules, CPLR requirements, and NYSCEF protocols
-
Draft, review, and proofread pleadings, motion papers, discovery responses, and privilege logs
-
Coordinate document productions, including client communication, document review/redaction, organization, and Bates stamping

Support depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trial preparation (exhibits and binders)

Maintain litigation calendars, including court appearances, discovery deadlines, and motion schedules
-
Review medical records and prepare medical summaries as needed

Provide general litigation support as assigned
Qualifications

College degree required (paralegal certification preferred but not required)

Minimum 5 years of New York litigation experience

Strong working knowledge of NY law, CPLR, and NYSCEF

Experience supporting commercial litigation matters

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems

Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills

High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Professional demeanor with the ability to work independently after training
