Job Description
We currently have an opportunity for a Land Use Legal Assistant with a law firm in the Parsippany, New Jersey area (zip code 07054). In addition to a competitive salary and benefits, the firm offers a very nice company culture. Position responsibilities are:
- Prepare land-use applications including creating and publishing notices of upcoming hearings and outcomes
- Respond to phone inquires, scheduling meetings and preparing correspondence
- Track case matters and records both in electronic and hard-copy files
- Enter attorney timesheets and prepare monthly billing
- Other administrative responsibilities as needs arise
Position requirements are:
- At least 7 years of land-use/municipality experience in a law firm environment preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office as well as creating computer graphics
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize work
