This position will play a transformative role in delivering actionable insights that drive decision-making and agility for chanel.com.  Collect and inform on: marketing channel performance, site performance, client behavior and the purchase path.  Serve as the resident expert on the use of online analytics tools, ensuring that teams employ analytics best practices in the design, execution and tracking of the site and marketing vehicles. Service business teams to perform deep dive analysis on optimizations of the site and consumer journey online.



Website Analytics Reporting


·         Identify trends by channel and provide performance marketing analysis

·         Understand traffic patterns to forecast years out
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of traffic building initiatives and provide recommendations for improvements in content marketing, user experience and conversion

  • Proactively identify notable changes in patterns and trends across all products and divisions
  • Understand pathing by product and division to provide opportunities to influence the engagement of features and services
  • Provide cross divisional analysis and purchase path by entry

  • Manage, execute and deliver client analyses such as: on-site customer segmentation, ROI modeling, lifetime value
  • Transform business questions into actionable analysis 

  • Understand on site abandonment issues and opportunities for improving site conversion rates
  • Work with key business stakeholders on roadmap across divisions to ensure site features and enhancement priorities include proper ROIs and tracking
  • Manage standard dashboards and reports and ad-hoc analyses
  • Proactively provide digital team with analytic insights surrounding current activities and initiatives



Website Analytics Tracking
  • Maintain the digital tracking infrastructure, including compiling and reviewing data requirements for the collection of web analytics and event data, and evaluating the product analytics landscape for new tools as they emerge
  • Coordinate tagging and tracking and ensure process adherence and data standards are maintained for accurate tracking and reporting
  • Be able to provide data integrity by working with the team on QA
  • Work with IT partners to provide information about website performance, user experience
  • Articulate requirements to ensure that we are able to track and report on all web, mobile, social, and in-store digital initiatives
  • Be able to understand and layer different data sources to maintain an holistic view of the business




·         6 year of applicable experience

·         Expertise in Google Analytics

·         Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
