We currently have an opportunity for a Vice President of Business Development with a growing healthcare organization in the Jericho, New York area (zip code 11590).

Position responsibilities are:

- Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with prospective physicians/providers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization' s growth and initiatives

- Crate and maintain the overall strategy for acquisitions

- Develop and execute strategies for lead generation. sales pricing and all other matters related to revenue generation for acquisitions

- Ensure recommendations with documented ROI are developed for proposed acquisitions

- Oversee diligence until closing and ensure smooth hand off to the integration team

- Research and drive business expansion and collaboration of opportunities for the market and development, in conjunction with senior management, the market strategic plan

-Seek out strategic health system relationships that are aligned with market strategies

-Work with finance and analytics team to determine the validity of the targets

- Oversee the process to ensure proper pricing and deal structuring leading to sales closure

- Make telephone calls and in person visits and presentations to existing clients and prospects

- Research sources for developing prospects and for information to determine their potential

- Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for prospects

- Coordinates prospecting effort with marketing. real estate, analytics, etc.

-Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the return on time investment for the territory/segment

-Supplies management with oral and written reports on acquisition activity, potential and status of existing accounts

-Keeps abreast of healthcare marketing conditions and competitive activities through reading of literature and participate in community events as necessary to promote the organization

Position requirements are:

- Bachelor' s Degree

- At least 7-10 years of related experience

- Experience in medical practice acquisitions

- Clinical experience is a plus

- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficiency in MS Office
