Job Description

We currently have an opportunity for a Procurement Project Coordinator with a major pharmaceutical company in Summit, New Jersey (Zip code 07092)

Position responsibilities are:
• Process requisitions for purchase orders in accordance with company compliance with federal and state government regulations and internal guidelines
• Working with contracted third party dispute resolution coordinator or directly with States or their third party administrators to identify, investigate and resolve disputes or open account balances
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Assist in departmental ad hoc projects including those related to system enhancements and upgrades, disaster recovery testing, legal inquiries, and acquisitions and divestitures
• Ensure projects routed accurately through contract and financial systems
• Provide teams with monthly reports
• Stay informed of changes or new tools that would be communicated to improve team processes and procedures.

• Candidate must work collaboratively with teams to ensure swift completion of work activities
• Demonstrate success in working in a team environment
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects/tasks effectively
• Strong attention to details and organizational, written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrate ability to handle sensitive information with an appropriate degree of confidentiality, discretion, and a professional demeanor.
• Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels of management

• Experience with Oracle and SAP experience

High School degree, some college or degree desirable
Minimum 5 years of work experience in the Pharmaceutical industry
