Paralegal Manager

Job Description
Position responsibilities are:
- Partner with attorneys on identifying paralegal staffing needs to ensure a smooth workflow
- Assist with recruiting paralegals as well as executing the performance management process
- Educate and advise attorneys on effective usage of paralegals
- Design and implement effective training programs for paralegals
- Serve as a liaison between the paralegals and other administrative departments as well as a liaison between attorneys and other paralegals to ensure projects are completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the firm's Managing Partner and firm management to increase the firm's profitability
- Ensure adherence to client billing guidelines
- Handle a reduced paralegal caseload, including document preparation
Position requirements are:
- Bachelor's Degree and ABA Paralegal Certificate from an Accredited Program
- At last 4 years of related experience as a paralegal, paralegal specialist or case manager
- At least 4 years of supervisory experience
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency with MS Office Suite and time entry programs
- Ability to maintain knowledge of practice specific technologies including eDiscovery practices and tools.
