Job Description

We currently have an opportunity for a Litigation Legal Assistant with a growing law firm in the Holmdel, NJ area (Zip Code 07733). This is a hybrid role - 50% from home and 50% in the office. Position responsibilities are:
- Preparing litigation legal correspondence and well as document preparation including briefs, motions, certifications and discovery requests and responses
- Format briefs including preparing Table of Contents and Tables of Authorities
- Assist attorneys with preparing for conferences, depositions and trials prepara
- Manage and maintain attorney calendars and schedule court appearances
- Compile and bates-stamp discovery for attorney review
- Administrative tasks as needed including responding to phone inquires from court personnel, clients and adversaries as well as making copies and preserving, organizing managing and labeling case documents
- File pleadings in state and federal courts
- Calculate and calendar discovery deadlines as well as other applicable deadlines

Position requirements:
- At least 5 years of  litigation legal administrative experience supporting attorneys in a law firm; experience in civil and criminal litigation matters a plus
- Demonstrated experience with preparing Table of Contents and Tables of Authorities as well as e-filing with state and federal courts
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with MS Office and Adobe
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and client relations skills
