Job Description
Position responsibilities are:
- Oversee all aspects of the firm's financial responsibilities including financial reporting, payroll, trust accounts, accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank accounts
- Prepare financial reports including budget variance, monthly financial statements and cash flow projections
- Process payroll, including ensuring compliance with payroll regulations, preparing payroll tax reports, calculating employee hours
- Collaborate with accountants on year end financial reporting
- Partner with the firm's management team to provide financial recommendations
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper, ideally in a law firm, CPA firm or other professional services firm environment-
- Proficiency in Accounting software (i.e. QuickBooks) as well as MS Office with strong proficiency in Excel
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Highly organized and detail orientated with demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Excellent communication and client relations skills
