Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

Job Description
We currently have an opportunity for a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal with a law firm in Bergen County, New Jersey
Position responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Handle commercial real estate transactions from contract/commitment to closing
- Draft and review loan documents, deds and related transfer documents
- Prepare closing costs and closing statements
- Record/file all documents and handle all post-closing items through issuance of title policy including completion of post-closing binders
- Interface with banks and title companies to prepare closing documents
Position requirements are:
- Paralegal certificate or college degree with at least 5 years of experience including 2 years of real estate experience (real estate law office, title company or similar)
- Must be detail orientated, an independent self-starter
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook
- Strong oral and written communication skills
