Application Support Specialist
HumanHire Technology has partnered with a healthcare company on Long Island to find the top IT professionals in the area to join their team. The ideal candidates must enjoy problem solving and thrive in a fast-paced rapidly changing environment. Flexibility, professionalism, good communication skills, and the ability to train are critical for this role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide support for issues, triage/resolution for clinical and support staff users.
- Assists with account management and the continual training of a variety of office users.
- Evaluate clients’ workflows, documents and procedures for implementation and customized follow-up training.
- Assist with special “out-of-the-box” technologically initiatives.
- Correct errors and modify system configurations as necessary during the support cycle.
- Perform configuration changes, acceptance testing and training regarding upgraded systems,
- Some night and weekend remote support may be required.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years experience with athenaPractice (formerly known as GE Centricity Practice Solutions) REQUIRED
- Knowledge of athenaPractice (formerly CPS), Link Logic, Sure Scripts Patient Portal, QVera Interface Engine, Phreesia, Solution Reach a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Word/Excel required.
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience required.
