Application Support Specialist

HumanHire Technology has partnered with a healthcare company on Long Island to find the top IT professionals in the area to join their team. Flexibility, professionalism, good communication skills, and the ability to train are critical for this role.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for issues, triage/resolution for clinical and support staff users.
  • Assists with account management and the continual training of a variety of office users.
  • Evaluate clients’ workflows, documents and procedures for implementation and customized follow-up training.
  • Assist with special “ out-of-the-box” technologically initiatives.
  • Correct errors and modify system configurations as necessary during the support cycle.
  • Perform configuration changes, acceptance testing and training regarding upgraded systems,
  • Some night and weekend remote support may be required.

Qualifications:
  • 1+ years experience with athenaPractice (formerly known as GE Centricity Practice Solutions) REQUIRED
  • Knowledge of athenaPractice (formerly CPS), Link Logic, Sure Scripts Patient Portal, QVera Interface Engine, Phreesia, Solution Reach a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Word/Excel required.
  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience required.
