Application Service Technology Manager

HumanHire Technology has partnered with a healthcare organization on Long Island to find the top IT professionals in the area to join their team. The ideal candidates must enjoy problem solving and thrive in a fast-paced rapidly changing environment. You will be required to lead a team to resolve and escalate tickets while providing end user support.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership to a team of Application Services Support specialists.
  • Work with Director of Technology, network administrators and engineers to assist with quality assurance, support, and data management.
  • Ensure that applications meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requests, and identify and resolve systems issues.
  • Test and evaluate new applications, systems software, products, and enhancements to existing applications throughout the enterprise.
  • Ensure that any new software integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications.
  • Maintain inventory of company software and systems assets and their corresponding contracts/agreements.
  • Develop and communicate training and documentation for end users, hold training sessions as necessary, and other user-related activities.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with 3rd party IT service provider and other vendors.

  • 2+ years’ experience with athenaPractice (formerly known as GE Centricity Practice Solutions) REQUIRED
  • Knowledge of Microsoft O365, Link Logic, Sure Scripts Patient Portal, QVera Interface Engine, Phreesia, Solution Reach a plus
  • Knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules, and liability matters related to medical practice.
