Job Description

We currently have an opportunity for an Office Manager with a growing law firm in the Denville, New Jersey area (zip code 07834). The Office Administrator will be directly responsible for all support staff personnel matters, including hiring, offering letters, compensation, terminations, training, supervising, employee relations and caseload allocation to ensure maximum efficiency.

Position responsibilities are:
- Manage 14 direct reports including attendance tracking and performance management 
- Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis through Paychex and administer all 401K benefits and contributions, including 401k transfers and loan requests. 
- Negotiate, evaluate, and administrate all benefits, including medical, dental and life insurances. Handle open enrollment and off-boarding of employee benefits 
- Prepare job ads, Interview candidates and prepare and communicate job offers
- Facilitate orientation of new hires as well as off-boarding of employees 
- Negotiate contracts with all business vendors regarding copiers, postage machine. 
- Prepare all insurance applications and ensure all insurance policies are up-to date
- Administer the firm's profit-sharing program (CBP) for each year
- Prepare census for 401K and CBP 
- Maintain closed files list off site 
- Manage and update the firm's notice board

Position requirements are:
 -  At least 5 years of related experience in a law firm
 -  Proficiency in MS Office
 -  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
 -  Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize work
 -  Excellent communication skills
