Job Description
We currently have an an opportunity for a Commercial Loan Processor/Closer with a commercial real estate investment firm in New York City. This is a hybrid role - 3 days from home and 2 in the office per week.
Position responsibilities are:
- Partner with underwriters, loan originators, processors and analysts to receive and track closing documents and follow up regarding outstanding documents
- Utilize Salesforce to track closing and underwriting pipeline
- Work with processors and underwriters on loan approvals from beginning to end, including arranging inspections, ordering and tracking appraisals, coordinating inspections and and ordering inspection and title reports and tracking deposits and expenses for each closing
- Prepare and review loan documents and submit for approval
- Assist in drafting and reviewing closing documents and conduct pre-file reviews
Position requirements are:
- 1-2 years of related experience; Title Agency experience preferred
- College Degree preferred but not required
- Proficiency with MS Office and some familiarity with Freddie Mac Systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client relations skills
